This policy explains what information Tuition Fee Tracker ("the app") collects, why, and how you can control it. The app is used by tuition teachers ("tutors"), their staff, and parents of students.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: first, middle and last name, WhatsApp mobile number, institute name, UPI ID (optional) and language preference.
• Data added by tutors: student and parent names, parent WhatsApp number, date of birth (optional), student photo (optional), batches, fees, payments, receipts, attendance, exam marks, homework and notices, timetable, expenses, enquiries, and staff details (name, number, salary).
• Device data: a push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so the app can send notifications.
• Purchase data: for Premium, Google Play shares a purchase token, plan and expiry date with us. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.
• Security logs: IP address and time of OTP requests, to stop misuse.

2. How we use it

• To run the app: login with WhatsApp OTP, keep fee and attendance records, create receipts, reports and ID cards.
• To send messages the tutor turns on: WhatsApp OTP, fee reminders, absent alerts and notices (sent through our WhatsApp provider Fast2SMS), and push notifications.
• To check and restore Premium subscriptions with Google Play.

We do not sell personal data and we do not show ads.

3. Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run the app: our web hosting provider (data storage), Fast2SMS (WhatsApp messages), Google Firebase (push notifications) and Google Play (subscriptions). Each tutor's data is visible only to that tutor, the staff they add (with the access they choose), and a parent for their own child.

4. Children's data

Student records are entered and managed by the tutor, who is responsible for having the parent's consent. Students do not create accounts. Parents can see only their own child's information after logging in with their own WhatsApp number.

5. Security and storage

Data is sent over HTTPS and stored on our server in India. OTPs are stored in hashed form, photos and private files are not publicly accessible, and access is limited by login.

6. Keeping and deleting data

We keep data while the account is active. A tutor can delete their account and all data at any time from Settings > Delete account in the app, or at https://tutor.growthpeace.com/delete-account.php. Deletion removes students, fees, attendance, photos and staff permanently. Purchase records needed for tax and accounting may be kept without personal details. Parents can remove their app login there too, and can ask the tutor to delete their child's records.

7. Your choices

• Turn off notifications in your phone settings.
• Tutors can switch off automatic WhatsApp messages in Settings.
• You can ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it.
